@_miki777 boosted a thread by former Base contributor @svmvn recounting the Based Advocate program: it started three years ago to recognize helpful community members who showed up every day in Discord, later expanded to Reddit and grew to around 100 advocates worldwide, supporting a Discord community of ~600k and a Reddit community of ~100k (post 2111743968677441993). @jimbo_finance said many are losing faith that $BASE will do an airdrop after the Advocate Discord was shut down, argued people who did so "should NOT be eligible anymore" and tagged @base and @jessepollak to clarify (post 2111698038599143707). @0xkiyuki posted a Chinese-language hiring drive for ambassadors, MODs and BD staff, describing MODs as people who live in Discord/Telegram and keep the community in order (post 2113847193656275030).

Why it matters
