What happened

Tesla unveiled a new Roadster that can drive upside down and flip mid-air, demonstrated at SpaceX's McGregor, Texas site. @timmy_turnes listed Roadster specs: 10 SpaceX-inspired thrusters, 600 liters of compressed air, claimed top speed above 230 mph, $250,000 reservation, and 2028 production target. @csmn_vf reported a 0-60 run of 0.81 seconds, three versions (Performance, Thrust, Rocket), over 300 miles range, and a one-seat Rocket.

Why it matters

This is a mainstream Elon/Tesla product moment that crypto CT processes mainly through the Cybertruck — an older, memed asset — rather than the Roadster itself. For a crypto-native account, the entry point is the Cybertruck comparison and the SpaceX-Tesla speculation, not the car specs.

Observed reaction

Mostly bullish and joking rather than bearish: @iwantlambo says the reveal makes him 'soooooo bullish' on Elon and tech while calling it a marketing stunt, @_mlnbro ends '实在太帅了,' and @crux_of_crypto expects the Roadster to be mass produced in a few years. A skeptical minority (@litecointa, @etatsemaj, @maziiiarkrm) attacks Cybertruck owners as biased and says the Cybertruck should be illegal.

05

@iwantlambo called the reveal a marketing stunt like the Cybertruck bulletproof windows but said it makes him 'soooooo bullish' on Elon and tech.

06

@stats_feed posted a Tesla model timeline placing Cybertruck in 2023 and the Flying Roadster in 2026, quoting a Kalshi post claiming 60% odds of a Tesla-SpaceX merger.

Angles

  • Frame the Cybertruck as the benchmark crypto CT uses to judge every Elon product: cracked window vs. mid-air kickflip
  • Run a 'crypto CT reacts to Tesla' roundup using the exact replies from @rwi_louis, @emvee420_, @iwantlambo and @crux_of_crypto
  • Use @stats_feed's Tesla model timeline (Cybertruck 2023, Flying Roadster 2026) as a chart-based post on how fast Elon's roadmap is moving

Formats in use

  • bullet-point spec thread
  • one-line joke reply asking for a flying Cybertruck
  • @-mention Elon post
  • quote tweet of a mainstream Tesla update
  • numbered explainer in Chinese
  • screenshot of a Kalshi odds post

Risks

  • Roadster specs, $250k reservation and 2028 production are Tesla/account claims not independently verified here
  • Do not turn the Kalshi 60% Tesla-SpaceX merge odds into a trade idea or price prediction
  • The Cybertruck bulletproof-window comparison is a joke; don't state it as a technical fact
  • Avoid amplifying personal attacks on Cybertruck owners (@litecointa, @etatsemaj) as a stance

Tesla just unveiled the new Roadster, and it can fly. At SpaceX’s test site in McGregor, Texas, it drove up a curved ramp until it hung upside down, then flipped and landed. Tesla says fans suck it to the ramp and cold-gas thrusters, built with SpaceX engineers, handle the flip.

The Cybertruck prototype window was cracked and mass production didn't have that issue. That flying roadster will be mass produced in a few years.
