On Solana, tokens 'Official Barron Trump' (A39FA7…sy37) and 'ELON / ELON 2028' (HWKD7f…pump) were flagged by @fictionalwealth as appearing to have been deployed by the same deployer as the Official Trump Coin (@early4lph4, 2026-10-16). @early4lph4 quote-posted it twice, calling the play a 'larp': the 'Coins created: 3' figure under the official $TRUMP deployer wallet (5e2qRc…) is misleading because set_creator() lets admins change the creator field, and the third token listed is a copy of OFFICIAL TRUMP. The rest of the week's Trump posts are unrelated macro or political chatter, from CPI and BTC levels to Asia's KOSPI circuit breaker.

Why it matters

'Deployed by the same wallet as $TRUMP' is the kind of on-chain claim degens treat as a presidential endorsement and ape into without checking. This week the claim was challenged with a specific mechanism (set_creator), making it a template for how to call out deployer-wallet impersonation before a copycat token spreads to other groups.
